A Stay at Elements by Rosetta: Quiet Luxury in Varca, South Goa

Tucked away in the sleepy village of Varca in South Goa, Elements by Rosetta is the kind of place that doesn’t scream luxury—it eases you into it. The 142-room property is designed for laid-back living, with a large central pool, an on-site spa and gym, and two dining options: an all-day restaurant at the main resort and a beachside outpost just a quick drive away.

I checked into The Cardamom Premier, one of their more indulgent suites, and was immediately struck by the sense of space—at over 500 square feet, it felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The suite comes with a king-sized bed, a well-stocked minibar, and a bathroom that’s equal parts sleek and spacious. But the highlight? An outdoor Jacuzzi that opens directly onto the swimming pool. It’s an effortless kind of luxury—just a few steps from bubble-soaking to pool-dipping.

In a state like Goa, where spa experiences can often be a hit or miss, I was surprised to find a genuinely good one here. The foot massage I had at the spa was relaxing enough to justify a return visit—and that’s saying something in a land where most spas rely more on ambience than actual technique.

The food at the resort leans towards comfort rather than culinary fireworks, but it works. Breakfast is generous, and meals at the beachside restaurant are best enjoyed with salt in your hair and sand between your toes.

Whether you’re looking for a weekend escape or looking for a venue to celebrate, Elements by Rosetta offers the quiet kind of luxury that’s getting harder to find in Goa. Spacious rooms, a pool you’ll actually want to use, and a spa that delivers—it’s all here, minus the noise.

A 45-minute drive from Dabolim airport.

Double rooms start at Rs 7,000 plus tax, including breakfast.
